• "Lure" them into situations where learning new things is vital - It doesn't have to be complex or anything, even small lessons learned will motivate them into the "good circle of learning" once again. Anyone got any examples of such situations?

• Pull them away from that big old ticking clock in their gloomy living room and out in the open air! Find ways to light the spark that was so brightly lit when they were young. Fresh air, challenges, stuff that really interest them (apart from Bridge, knitting or pudding!).

• I think it's a really great idea to enforce road taxes in the central parts of the major cities. This will reduce the number of cars in the central areas. Fewer cars means less pollution of the air. More people will use public transportation, which is lot better for the environment.

• Firebug (for Mozilla Firefox) is a great way to "get behind the scenes" of web site development It enables me to manipulate in real time the code of any web site AND see the effects right away. Add-ons like these are a step in the right direction in making programming accessible to all

• Students from Designskolen Kolding could help brand the new zone. I could just imagine a great identity for the harbor, based on some of the interesting typography that can already be found in that area... The decay / aging of the buildings etc. could definitely be turned into a strength.

• How about having special "shop boats". They could be docked, people could come aboard and browse the goods. The boats could sail to towns nearby and spread the message of this new fascinating harbor zone in Kolding. "The Fleet of Floating Shops" :)

• Hey! How about making a deal between "Kolding Kajak Klub" and Designskolen Kolding. There could be a project / competition on decorating the kayaks :) There are awesome decorations for skateboards, so why not for kayaks? Just a thought...
